Maverick County Daily Reports-June 19, 2016

Wanted Person-Deputies on patrol arrested Sergio Montoya this morning after a traffic stop revealed an active warrant out of Maverick County. Mr. Montoya was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Public Intoxication- A County unit responded to Thompson Road in reference to a male subject found laying on the ground. Upon arrival, contact was made with the driver of a vehicle who told deputies he was having issues with his vehicle. The male subject had a strong alcoholic odor emitting from his body at the time. A second subject also displayed very unstable movements. The two, identified as Jesus Cortez and Christian Obregon were arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Ignacio Reyes was placed under arrest at the international Port of Entry II this afternoon after being detained when a background check revealed an active warrant out of Dallas, Texas. Mr. Reyes was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Habitation-A complainant on the 600 block of Alamo Street reported unknown actor(s) had gained entry into his residence without consent and took several items.

Wanted Person-A traffic stop on Eidson Road this evening led to the arrest of Mario Alberto Gonzalez, who had an open warrant out of Maverick County. Mr. Gonzalez was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
