Maverick County Daily Reports-June 18, 2016

Assault-Deputies responded to the Moonlight Ballroom, where a male complainant reported having been physically assaulted by three known male subjects. The complainant displayed minor bruises to the head and facial area. He refused medical attention at the time of this report.

Public Intoxication-Deputies responded to calls of an unruly male subject early this morning. Contact was made with a male subject, later identified as Leonardo Gabriel Saucedo, after a search of the area was conducted. Mr. Saucedo displayed signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Possession of Marijuana-Deputies arrested David Obrien Irvin after a inspection conducted by Border Patrol agents on Mr. Irvin's vehicle discovered a small cigar with a green leafy substance in the center console. The substance later tested positive for marijuana. Mr. Irvin was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Motor Vehicle Accident-A county unit was dispatched to the intersection of FM1021 and Wildwood this afternoon, where a Chevrolet Impala and a Chevrolet Silverado were involved in a motor vehicle accident. The Impala, which sustained damages to the right side quarter panel, was traveling westbound on FM1021 when the Silverado failed to yield at the intersection on FM2030, striking the Impala. The female driver was transported to the ER for medical treatment. This case is under investigation.

Evading Arrest and Detention-Units made their way to the 3200 block of Palma Street this evening after receiving reports of a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, deputies attempted to make contact with a male subject, later identified as eighteen year old Saul Aguilera. Mr. Aguilera then fled the residence on foot, with deputies giving chase. He would later be detained and arrested near Fresno Loop and then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-A traffic stop for a minor violation this evening revealed the driver of the vehicle was wanted on an outstanding warrant charge. Jose Esquivel was placed under arrest after a warrant out of Maverick County was confirmed. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
