Maverick County Daily Reports-June 04, 2016

Aggravated Assault/Family Violence-Deputies responded to Rafael Street this morning in reference to a family disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, contact was made with a seventeen year old male subject later identified as Jesus Amaya, who was found with visible markings and bumps to the head and facial area. Family members stated Mr. Amaya had physically assaulted his father and displayed a pocket knife in the midst of the assault. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Motor Vehicle Accident/Hit and Run-A deputy patrolling Eidson Road during the morning hours observed a 2012 Ford F-150 atop of a guard rail and two unknown male subjects fleeing the scene. A search of the area conducted for the two subjects came up empty. Further investigation determined the pickup had been traveling northbound on Eidson Road when the vehicle lost control and struck the guard rail.

Assault/Family Violence-Units responded to Wipff Road this morning, where a female subject reported she had been involved in a verbal confrontation with her husband that escalated into a physical altercation. Enrique Alejandro Salas was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
