Motor Vehicle Accident-A Nissan Sentra traveling northbound on Bianca Drive entered a property and struck a lightpole and a steel frame early this morning. The collision caused damages to the front panel of the vehicle. The driver fled the scene prior to a county unit's arrival.
DWI-A traffic stop conducted on a Chevrolet Malibu this morning for a speeding infraction revealed the driver to be intoxicated. Twenty-three year old Diego Castillo displayed blood shot eyes, slurred speech, and a strong alcoholic odor emitting from his person. Mr. Castillo was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.'
Deceased Person-Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of View Drive, where a forty-seven year old male subject was found deceased. EMS crews were at the scene at the time of arrival and Justice of the Peace Mancha pronounced the time of dead at 11:32 AM and ordered an autopsy to be conducted.
Wanted Person-A TCIC/NCIC check on a male subject identified as Sergio Francisco Cervantes revealed an active warrant out of Maverick County. Mr. Cervantes was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Motor Vehicle Accident/DWI-A vehicle traveling eastbound on Eidson Road this evening veered onto oncoming traffic and struck a Saturn Outlook before fleeing the scene and colliding with a second vehicle shortly thereafter. Joel Valdez Talamantes, the driver of the vehicle in both accidents, was placed under arrest on DWI charges. The occupants of the vehicles involved all refused medical attention at the time of this report.
