Assault/Family Violence, Interfering with a 911 Call-Units responded to Arce Lane this morning, where contact was made with a female complainant who reported being assaulted by her husband. The complainant went on to state that the male subject had struck her in the facial area with a closed fist. In the midst of the confrontation, she attempted to call 911, however, the phone was taken from her possession and broken. The male subject fled the area in an unknown direction prior to deputies' arrival.
Wanted Person-Deputies responded to the international Port of Entry #1, where CBP agents detained a male subject when a background check revealed an active warrant. The warrant for Juan Manuel Torralba was confirmed and he was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
