Maverick County Daily Reports-May 02, 2016

Public Intoxication-A deputy patrolling Del Rio Blvd this morning found the driver of a 2002 GMC Envoy in an intoxicated state after being stopped for a minor traffic infraction. Ricardo Diaz was placed under arrest after the deputy detected a strong alcoholic odor emitting from his person, bloodshot eyes, and a slurred speech. Mr. Diaz was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Habitation-Units responded to the 2000 block of Boulder Ridge, where a complainant reported unknown subjects had gained entry to her residence without consent and took a television set. The case was referred to the Criminal Investigations division for further process.

Wanted Person-Deputies responded to the Maverick County Adult Probation Department, where twenty-four year old Bernardo Ramos, Jr. was placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant charge. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-A County unit patrolling US Highway 277 North this morning conducted a traffic stop on minor traffic violation. A background check on the driver, Jordan Barclay Helm, revealed an active warrant for is arrest. Mr. Helm was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Twenty-five year old Genesis Gutierrez was placed under arrest after a background check revealed an active warrant out of Maverick County. Gutierrez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft-A complainant on Academy Road reported a known male had taken several items from outside of her residence without consent.

Theft-A deputy met with a complainant on the 1300 block of Salinas, who reported unknown subject(s) had entered her property without consent and took an X-Box gaming console left at the front door step by a courier service.
