Theft-A complainant on Eidson Road advised that an unknown time, unknown subject(s) entered his property and took several mechanical tools without his consent.
Wanted Person-Deputies arrested a male subject identified as Juan Mendez Lopez at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office this afternoon after it was revealed he had an active warrant for his arrest out of Maverick County. He was then escorted to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Assault-Deputies were dispatched to the United States Border Patrol South Station in reference to a male subject that had been assaulted by the Rosita Valley area on April 25th. A report was taken on the incident.
Possession of a Stolen Firearm/Unlawfully Carrying a Firearm-Deputies on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer for a minor infraction this evening. Contact was made with the driver and passenger, who would later be patted down. Jose Hernandez, the passenger, was found to be in possession of a model 380 pistol on his waistline. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Theft-A resident on Agarita reported unknown subject(s) entered her property and removed a lawnmower from her front porch.
