Maverick County Daily Reports-March 24, 2016

Theft-Deputies responded to the Dollar General store on Fm1021 this morning, where employees stated two females had exited the store without having paid for $96.00 worth of merchandise. A report was filed.

Motor Vehicle Accident-A vehicle exiting the parking lot of The Oasis convenience store in Quemado, Texas struck a 2014 Chevrolet while attempting to back out. The occupants of the vehicle refused medical attention at the scene.

Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to US Highway 277 North this afternoon after a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban entering a parking lot was struck by a 2004 Mazda. The operators of both vehicles refused medical attention at the time of the report.

Burglary of Habitation-A complainant on Remington Street reported unknown subject(s) had entered his residence and stole several items without consent.

Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-Thirty-three year old Jodie Collins was arrested after was revealed he was in possession of a plastic baggie containing a green leafy substance that later tested positive for marijuana.
