Maverick County Daily Reports-March 04, 2016

Hit and Run-Deputies responded to FM 1021 this morning, where a 2014 Dodge Durango sustained minor damages to its bumper when it was rear-ended by a vehicle that fled the scene. The occupants of the vehicle refused medical attention at the time of the report.

Family Violence/Assault-Deputies made their way to the 1600 block of Ferrer after receiving calls of an altercation. Upon arrival, contact was made with a female subject who stated she had been involved in a physical altercation with her fiance, who had reportedly choked her. The male subject told officials he had been hit with a closed fist in the facial area. Both individuals were placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Deputies arrested Rogelio Martinez this afternoon after Eagle Pass police officers detained him on an active warrant. The warrant out of Maverick County on Mr. Martinez was confirmed and he was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

DWI-A traffic stop on 2002 Ford Mustang for a minor traffic infraction revealed the driver to be intoxicated. Daniel Gonzalez was determined to be unfit to drive a motor vehicle and was placed under arrest. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
