Maverick County Daily Reports-January 28, 2016

Minor Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to the intersection of Memo Robinson Road and Buena Vista, where the driver of a Mazda backing out of his driveway did not see a Chrysler 300 traveling westbound on Memo Robinson Road. The collision left minor damages to both vehicles and the occupants of the vehicles refused further medical attention at the time of this report.

Wanted Person-A deputy reported to the Maverick County Adult Probation Department, where a male subject identified as Javier Garza was placed under arrest after a background check revealed an active warrant. Garza was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Criminal Mischief-A complainant on the 2700 block of Rodriguez reported unknown subjects had thrown a rock at the windshield of her Ford Explorer, causing damages.

Possession of Marijuana <2 oz.-Deputies responded to the United States Border Patrol south station after a female subject was found to be in possession of marijuana. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Habitation-a complainant on the 800 block of Chula Vista reported his Macbook Pro laptop had been taken from his resident without his consent by an unknown subject(s).
