Maverick County Daily Reports-February 21, 2016

Burglary of Habitation-A complainant on Sandalo Street stated unknown subject(s) had entered her residence without her consent by forcing the side door of her mobile home in. A plasma TV and laptop were taken from the residence.

Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the City of Eagle Pass Police Department after city officers detained a female subject with an active warrant. Elsie Zapata was taken into custody and  transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Recovered Narcotics-Deputies responded to the 100 block of High Noon, where a complainant reported finding a ziploc bag with a green leafy substance. The substance later tested positive for marijuana.

Information Report-Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Zaragoza, where a male subject was identified as suicidal. EMS crews were summoned to the scene and the subject was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center.

Burglary of Building-A complainant on the 100 block of Sunrise Loop stated unknown actor(s) had gained entry into two storage building outside of her residence and took assorted tools without her consent.

Theft-Deputies responded to Sunset Ranch, where a resident told officers unknown subject(s) entered his property without consent and took a chain saw, two foldable chairs, and a gasoline tank he had left outside.

Family Violence/Assault-A reporting subject on Coyunda Street stated that a verbal argument had ensued between her spouse and her. In the midst of the argument, the female stepped outside the residence but he husband had grabbed her by the hair and pulled her back inside.

Family Violence/Assault-A complainant on Herradura reported to deputies her husband had been intoxicated and upon entering the residence, began to strike her in the facial area for unknown reasons.

Family Violence/Assault-A female subject on Del Rio Blvd. stated her boyfriend began to yell at her for unknown reasons. The complainant further stated her boyfriend began to threaten her with imminent bodily injuries and death, at which point she began to fear for her safety and that of her children. Victor Perez, Jr. was then placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
