Maverick County Daily Reports-February 11, 2016

Criminal Trespass/Recovered Narcotics-Deputies responded to the 100 block of Chuck Wagon, where an unwanted male subject refused to leave the area. Upon arrival, contact was made with Juan Carlos Torres, who was advised by officers to leave the area. Mr. Torres failed to do as requested and was placed under arrest. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. Further investigation into the area found two needles containing methamphetamine outside of the residence. They were taken and placed into the evidence locker for safekeeping.

Damage to Property-A complainant on San Felipe Circle reported unknown subjects had caused to damages to her cattle fence.

Assault/Family Violence-A complainant on the 1400 block of Cecilio Street reported a forty-eight year old man identifed as George Albert Gutierrez struck his father on  the forehead after having an argument. Gutierrez was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Public Intoxication-A deputy patrolling Francis Street this evening conducting a traffic stop for a minor infraction. The strop led to the discovery of three male subjects who would be arrested on public intoxication charges. Two males would later be determined to be undocumented citizens. The three were transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center, where the two undocumented citizens were turned over to US Border Patrol agents.
