Press Release-Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber participated in the Texas Border Sheriff's Coalition annual winter meeting in Del Rio, Texas on January 11th. The sheriff joined his peers from approximately twenty other counties to discuss and share issues and topics affecting the members of the coalition. Sheriff Schmerber thanks Val Verde County Sheriff Joe Frank Martinez for playing host to the event and looks forward to the next round of talks with the coalition.
