Wanted Person-Deputies arrested twenty-two year old Abel Luevano after it was revealed he had an active warrant out of Maverick County on DWI charges.
Stolen License Plates-A complainant arrived to the Sheriff's Office to report her license plates had gone missing after leaving her 1997 Ford Taurus in Mexico to be repaired
Located Missing Person-Deputies responded to the United States Border Patrol checkpoint on US Highway 57, where agents had detained a male subject reported as missing as of 2013. Contact was made with the parents, who stated they had forgotten to have their son removed from the system. The subject was then released.
Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the international Port of Entry #1 after CBP agents detained a male subject with an active warrant out of Uvalde County. The warrant on Joel Auerilio Bermudez was confirmed and Mr. Bermudez was taken into Sheriff's custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
