Assault/Family Violence/Resisting Arrest-Units responded to the 3800 block of Deer Run Blvd. after fielding a call of a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, deputies determined there was a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation between a father and male juvenile. The juvenile was detained and transported to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office for further processing.
Disorderly Conduct-Deputies were dispatched to the 3000 block of Mark Anthony after receiving reports of a disturbance in progress. A verbal argument between a husband and his wife escalated to the point of a damaged vehicle windshield, leading to the arrest of Guillermo Barrera, Jr. Mr. Barrera was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Theft-A complainant on the 300 block of Wildwood advised that several items were stolen from his residence on December 31, 2015. The resident reported that both his house and car key had been stolen, along with $6,500.00 dollars. A report on the incident was filed.
Recovered Stolen Property-Deputies responded to the 800 block of Christian Street, where a complainant advised that her husband had recovered four rims that had previosuly been reported as stolen.
