DWI-Deputies patrolling FM1021 this morning made a traffic stop on a vehicle for a minor traffic infraction. Contact was made with the driver, Jose Humberto Zavala, Jr., who displayed slurred speech and had some type of alcoholic beverage emitting from his person. Zavala was then placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Reckless Driving-Deputies patrolling Eidson Road this afternoon observed a pickup truck traveling at a high rate of speed with no regard for stop signs. A traffic stop was conducted on the infractions and Jorge Alberto Ramirez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Hit and Run-A complainant on Nogal Street stated an unknown vehicle collided into her 2003 Chrysler van, causing damages.
