Maverick County Daily Reports-December 13, 2015

Information Report-Deputies were dispatched to the 9500 block of Highway 277 East, where a storage farm shed was found engulfed in flames. Eagle Pass Fire Department crews were on hand to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported at the time of the report.

Disorderly Conduct-A complainant on Progresso Street reported an unwanted intoxicated male subject was by their residence. Units arrived to the area and made contact with the subject, who ignored officer commands and began to resist arrest as deputies tried to detain him. Jose Hernandez was then placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Building-Deputies were dispatched to the 1600 block of Old Pioneer Road, where a complainant reported unknown subject(s) had gained access to the ignition key to his trailer and drove the tractor into a concrete wall, causing damages. After further investigation, the subjects had also taken a metal grinder from inside a shed. Criminal Investigations Unit was contacted for further process.

Minor Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to a dining establishment in Seco Mines after a vehicle backing out of the parking lot struck a vehicle from behind. Upon arrival, deputies observed a Ford Focus with visible damages to its front end and a Ford F-150 with no visible damages to its rear. Both parties refused medical attention at the time of the report.
