Maverick County Daily Reports-December 25, 2015

Burglary of Habitation-A complainant on the 200 block of Sunrise Loop told deputies a known male subject had kicked open the door to her residence and took her engagement ring from her hand without consent. The subject would leave the area in an unknown location.

Burglary of Habitation-Deputies reported to the 1st block of Rios Lane, where a resident reported unknown actor(s) had entered his home through a window without his consent. He further stated that nothing had appeared to have been taken.

Deadly Conduct-Deputies were dispatched to Santa Ana, where a male subject identified as twenty-one year old Joel Gaytan became irate with family members for known reasons. Gaytan entered his residence and took out a Beretta 40 cal. gun and shot one round into his sister's black Ford Fusion. Mr. Gaytan was placed under arrest for deadly conduct and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing and confinement.

Disorderly Conduct-A female just released from jail was found throwing rocks at vehicles parked outside of the Maverick County Sheriff's Office. The female, identified as Melissa Ann Disman, was arrested and cited for disorderly conduct.

Criminal Mischief -Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Sunrise Loops, where a female complainant reported her ex-husband had arrived at her residence and broke the back door to the home as well as a bedroom window. The male subject had left the area prior to deputies arrival.

Family Violence/Assault-A complainant on the 1500 block of Follow Lane reported she was assaulted by her husband when he struck her with a closed fist in the forehead area. The male subject had left the area before deputies arrived to the scene.

Theft-A complainant on FM1021 reported unknown subject(s) had taken several items without consent.

Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the international Port of Entry #2 after CBP agents detained a male subject with an active warrant. A warrant for Alejandro Gonzalez was confirmed out of the Midland County Sheriff's Office. Mr. Gonzalez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Disorderly Conduct-Deputies responded to the 300 block of FM2030, where a complainant reported an unwanted subject at a locale. Upon arrival, the complainant stated that the subject, identified as Erik Martinez, was using vulgar language and refused to leave from the location. Mr. Martinez was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
