Public Intoxication-A deputy patrol Del Rio Blvd. this morning witnessed a female subject, later identified as twenty-two year old Jasmine Saurez, walking on the inner lane of the highway. Ms. Saurez displayed unbalanced movements and had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her person. Ms. Saurez was placed under arrest on public intoxication charges and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Motor Vehicle Accident-A 2013 Chevrolet Silverado travelling northbound on US Highway 277 North towards Del Rio, Texas rolled over after the driver fell asleep at the wheel. Twenty-six year old Luis Jimenez, a resident of Mission, Texas, told deputies he had fallen asleep when the vehicle veered to the right and struck an embankment, causing the truck to roll over on its roof. Mr. Jimenez refused medical treatment at the time of the report.
Assault/Family Violence-Units responded to calls of a family violence in progress on the 1700 block of Rainbow Circle. Upon arrival, it was revealed that a male individual identified as Francisco Villarreal had struck his wife repeatedly in the facial area. An attempt to detain Mr. Villarreal was met with resistance before finally taking him into custody. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Theft-A complainant on Eidson Road stated her daughter had taken some of her medications as well as her debit card without her consent.
