Maverick County Daily Reports-December 11, 2015

DWI-Deputies on patrol this morning conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt for a minor traffic infraction. Contact was made with the driver, thirty-two year old Jose Carlos Cedillo, who deputies requested perform the standard field sobriety test. Mr. Cedillo did not pass the test and was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Identity Theft-A female complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to report an unknown subject had been using her identity without her consent.

Wanted Person-A deputy responded to the City of Eagle Pass Police Department after officers detained a female subject with an active warrant out of Maverick County. The warrant on Christina Garza Correa was confirmed. She was taken into custody and transferred to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Disorderly Conduct-Deputies responded to the 1600 block of Ferrer after receiving reports of a fight in progress. Upon arrival contact was made with Luis and Joel Valdez Talamantes, the two subjects involved in the altercation. Both individuals were arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Building-A male complainant on Wild Turkey reported unknown subject(s) had taken a framing nail gun from a building he was constructing in the Hopedale area.

Dog Bite- A complainant on Laura Street told deputies she had been bitten on her right ankle by a stray dog while walking.
