Maverick County Daily Reports-November 17, 2015

Possession of Marijuana under two ounces-A deputy patrolling Tierra Soberana early this morning conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Cadillac Escalade for a traffic infraction. After conducting a search of the vehicle, the officer discovered a clear plastic baggy containing what appeared to be marijuana under the passenger seat. The four occupants of the vehicle, identified as Dustin Suke Elizondo, Ramaldo Elizondo, David Valdez, and Bernardo Ramos, all denied possession of the drug and would later be arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Habitation/Damage to Property-A resident on the 3800 block of Cross Creek reported that at an unknown time this past Saturday, unknown actor(s) broke several windows to her residence. She also stated that those subjects entered the residence and took a mattress box spring without her consent.

Theft-A complainant reported to officers that an unknown actor(s) had taken an air soft gun from his farm approximately five weeks ago without his consent.

Possession of Marijuana under Two Ounces-Deputies responded to the United States Border Patrol Checkpoint on US Highway 57 North after a male subject was detained for possessing marijuana. Thirty one year old Felipe Menchaca was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
