Maverick County Daily Reports-November 24, 2015

Motor Vehicle Accident-County units responded to the 3100 block of Tina Drive after receiving reports of a hit and run motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival deputies made contact with the resident, whose 2014 Ford F-150 was found parked with damages to its front left end. A sweep of the area found a 2003 GMC Yukon with front end damages traveling on Siesta Drive. Contact was made with a male juvenile driver who stated he had been traveling southbound on Tina Drive when he lost control of the wheel and struck the Ford pickup. He was cited for leaving the scene of an accident and operating a vehicle without a driver's license. He refused medical attention at the time of the report.

Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the international Port of Entry after a male subject attempting to enter the United States was detained by CBP agents when it was determined a warrant was out for his arrest. The male subject was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Criminal Mischief-A deputy responded to the 3100 block of Mack after an alarm activation was triggered. Upon arrival, the officer was advised by the resident that unknown subject(s) had shattered her side door window.
