Assault-Deputies responded to Six Shooter Road in reference to assault in progress. Units arrived and made contact with the complainant who stated that a known male subject had assaulted her.
Burglary of Habitation/Recovered Stolen Vehicle-Units were dispatched to the 1300 block of Siesta Drive, where a complainant stated a known male had entered his residence without his consent and took the keys to his vehicle. A TCIC/NCIC check on a black 2002 Chevrolet Silverado at the residence came back as a stolen vehicle from Maverick County. The complainant stated that the pickup had been returned to his residence several days ago.
Public Intoxication-Deputies at the Maverick County Fairgrounds encountered a male subject this evening who was found with unstable balance, a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his person, bloodshot eyes, and slurred speech. He was placed under arrest on public intoxication charges and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Theft under $50.00-Deputies responded to a theft in progress at the Super 7 Meat Market on Eidson Road this evening, shortly before 8:30 PM. contact was made with the store owner, who advised that a male subject had taken some meat and fled the location without paying. A description was given on the subject and a positive identification of the assailant was later found by Nick Carr Park on Potro Street. The subject, Jason Lee Chancey, was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
