Maverick County Daily Reports-October 04, 2015

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle-A complainant reported that a known family member had taken his black Chevrolet Silverado without his consent. The incident occurred on Siesta Drive.

Assault-A complainant visited the Sheriff's Office to reported she has been physically and mentally abused by her boyfriend for the past month.

Violation of Court Order-A complainant on the 1st block of Silver Bridge Road stated his ex-wife refused to let him see his children, violating court order documentation.

Family Violence/Assault-A deputy responded to the 7200 block of El Indio Highway, where a complainant reported that her ex-husband had been involved in a physical altercation with their son.

Located Missing Person-A TCIC/NCIC check on a male subject attempting to enter the United States via the international Port of Entry #2 revealed said subject was reported missing out of San Antonio, Texas. David James Booth was released to the custody of his father and was removed from the system as a missing person.

Wanted Person-Deputies were called to the international Port of Entry #2, where a background check on a male subject revealed an active warrant. Deputies arrested Fernando Gallegos after the warrant was confirmed. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Family Violence/Assault-Deputies responded to calls of a family violence in progress on Rosita Valley Road this evening. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, identified as Ramiro Del Rio, who stated that he was involved in a physical altercation with his common law wife. The wife, identified as Maria Cruz, had fled the scene and was later found on the 3100 block of Cortinas. Ms. Cruz told officers the the male subject had struck her in the head area. Ms. Cruz refused medical attention at the time of the report. After further investigation, both parties were placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Runaway report-A complainant stated her juvenile daughter had left the area without her consent since September 29, 2015. The female was entered into the TCIC/NCIC system as a runaway.
