Maverick County Daily Reports-September 18, 2015

Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-A deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff's Office Lobby, where United States Border Patrol agents turned over custody of a detained male subject. Nelson William Tanner was detained at the checkpoint on FM 2644 after being found in possession of a usable quantity of marijuana. Mr. Tanner was placed under arrest and escorted to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Building-Units responded to the 3000 block of Sueno Circle, where a complainant stated unknown subject(s)  had used forced entry to enter his storage room without his consent. Several items were reported missing.

Assault/Civil Matter-A female complainant on the 1700 block of Dr. Gates reported that her cousin, along with several male acquaintances, had assaulted her. She also stated she wants her cousin evicted from the property they both share.

Wanted Person-A county unit responded to the Maverick County Adult Probation Department, where Ricardo Perez was arrested after it was revealed he had an open warrant out of  Maverick County.

Criminal Mischief-A female complainant on Las Quintas Blvd. reported her ex-boyfriend had slashed the front driver's side tire to her vehicle.
