Maverick County Daily Reports-September 17, 2015

Motor Vehicle Accident-County units responded to Lago Vista and Callejon Terran this afternoon, after a 2008 Chrysler SUV collided into a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban at the intersection.

Information Report-Units were dispatched to Highway 277 East, where a 2000 Peterbilt  tractor trailer had rolled over. A deputy at the scene made contact with the driver, Terry Leon Clevenger of Grandbury, Texas, who stated he was traveling westbound on 277 when he felt the trailer veer to the left. He lost control of the trailer in attempting to correct the turn, causing it to flip on its side and block traffic. US Highway 277 East was closed for a period of two to three hours while the trailer was removed from the roadway.













Aggravated Sexual Assault to a Child-A complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to report an aggravated sexual assault to a child. This case is under investigation.
