Maverick County Daily Reports-September 29, 2015

Minor Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to the intersection of  US Highway 277 North and Thompson Road this morning after a 2005 Ford F-150 collided into a Chevrolet Equinox while it was coming to a stop at the traffic lights. The occupants of both vehicles refused medical attention.

Wanted Person-A male subject was detained at the international Port of Entry #1 after a check revealed an open warrant out of Reagan County on possession of a controlled substance charges.
The subject was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Motor Vehicle Accident-County units were dispatched to US Highway 277 North near Elm Creek where a Dodge Dakota struck a tree by mile marker 601. The Operator of the vehicle was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center Emergency Room for treatment.

Motor Vehicle Accident-A white tractor trailer turning onto FM2030 from FM1021 struck a gold Mercury Mountaineer who was stopped at the intersection this afternoon, shortly after 12:45 PM. The operators of both vehicles refused medical attention.

Wanted Person-Deputies responded to the international Port of Entry #1 after a background check on a male subject revealed an active warrant out of Travis County. Thomas Hernandez was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Located Runaway-A county deputy responded to Mariza Street after the grandmother of a reported runaway stated her granddaughter had returned home safely. The juvenile was removed from the system.

Family Violence/Assault-A female complainant on Zaragoza stated she was involved in a physical altercation with her husband. Her husband had left the area in an unknown direction.
