Public Intoxication-A deputy was dispatched to US Highway 277 North, after a deputy Constable had detained a female that almost struck a construction worker with her vehicle. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the driver, identified as Sophia Graciela Longoria, who displayed a slurred speech, blood shot eyes, and some type of alcohol beverage emitting from her person. Ms. Longoria was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Hit and Run-Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 277 East this morning in reference to a possible hit and run. Upon arrival at the intersection of 277 East and FM 480, deputies located an unoccupied stationary vehicle that had been in an apparent accident. The vehicle was then impounded.
Reckless Driver-A female complainant on the 1st block of Silver Spur reported a male driving a Chevrolet Silverado recklessly in front of her residence, causing gravel to lift off of the ground and striking her two year-old grandson in the facial area. The complainant refused medical attention.
Located Runaway-A deputy was dispatched to the international Port of Entry #1, where a reported runaway was located. The female juvenile wad released to the custody of a parent and removed from the TCIC/NCIC database.
Assault-A complainant at the Maverick County Lake stated she was assaulted by a known female, who fled the location prior to the units arrival.
Disorderly Conduct-Deputies responded to the 4100 block of Deer Run Blvd. and made contact with a female subject identified as Kathelyne Jimenez, who was found to be in a disorderly state in front of her reisdence. After several attempts to calm her down, Ms. Jimenez failed to comply with deputy requests. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
