Maverick County Daily Reports-August 13, 2015

Assault with a Deadly Weapon-Deputies arrived to the 700 block of Cedro Street, where a female subject stated she had been assaulted by a female using brass knuckles. The female was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER for medical treatment.

Assault-A deputy was dispatched to the 1700 block of Jalisco Street after a female subject reported she had been assaulted by another female. The complainant refused medical attention at the time.

Burglary of Vehicle-A female on the 1600 block of Las Quintas Blvd. reported to deputies that a known male subject had entered her unlocked vehicle without her consent and took $100.00.

Evading Arrest-A deputy conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of FM1021 and Mateos  on a red Ford Ranger early this morning. As the deputy approached the vehicle to make contact, the occupants of the vehicle exited the vehicle and began running.

Civil Matter/Damage to Property-A complainant traveling on FM1021 reported to deputies, that while passing an 18 wheeler, his vehicle was struck by several rocks the trailer was carrying. The windshield was cracked by the flying rocks.

Criminal Mischief-an unknown individual was reported to have broken the passenger window to a pickup truck on Del Rio Blvd. The complainant wished to file a report.

Theft-A female subject reported that a known individual had stolen her credit card information as well as her social security card.

Minor Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Eidson Road and Memo Robinson Road this evening. A vehicle stopped at the intersection was struck from behind by a vehicle traveling eastbound on Eidson Road.

Motor Vehicle Accident-Units were dispatched to the 1300 block of Las Quintas Blvd, when a driver exiting her residence was struck  by a vehicle traveling westbound.

Family Violence/Assault-A female complainant visited the Sheriff's Office and told deputies she had been involved in a verbal argument with her husband approximately one month ago. She further stated that her husband struck her several times during that argument.
