Maverick County Daily Reports-July 30, 2015

Recovered Stolen Vehicle/Motor Vehicle Accident with a Fixed Object-Deputies responded to Ranchitos Road at approximately 3:34 AM after a vehicle was reported driving recklessly. County units were able to witness the vehicle in the area and attempted to make a traffic stop on the 2004 grey Ford Focus in question. The vehicle, however, was traveling at a high rate of speed on Ranchitos Road before ultimately striking a cement block fence. Two male subjects fled from the vehicle. A search of the area yielded no suspects.

Burglary of Vehicle-A female complainant on the 1800 block of Oaxaca reported that unknown subject(s) gained entry to her 2013 Dodge Ram and took the key to her rim lock.

UUMV-A complainant on the 700 block of Morning Start woke up this morning to find his vehicle missing from his driveway.

Damage to Property-A complainant on Wipff Road told officers unknown subject(s) had damaged approximately sixteen feet of fence line on her property.

Hit and Run-Deputies responded to the 700 block of Vienna Street where a male subject told deputies someone struck his vehicle and left the scene.

Information Report-An information report was filed in reference to undocumented citizens staying no a residence on Main Street. The undocumented citizens were turned over to the custody of the United States Border Patrol.

Wanted Person-Deputy was dispatched to the Maverick County Adult Prohbation Office in reference to a wanted female subject.

Information Report-Deputies were called to Wild Turkey in reference to an abandoned vehicle. The Vehicle was towed by a local wrecker service.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle-Deputies returned to Morning Star after the vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier was recovered.

Information-Deputies were able to recover the keys to a vehicle that had been involved in a police pursuit in the early morning hours.

Credit Card Abuse-A complainant on the 300 block of Peach Street that an unknown subject had used her debit card to purchase a cell phone in Florida.

Information Report-A traffic stop near the intersection of Vienna Street and Progresso Street revealed that four of the five occupants in the vehicle were identified as undocumented citizens. All five subjects were turned over to the custody of United States Border Patrol.
