Maverick County Daily Reports-July 07, 2015

Burglary of Building-Deputies were dispatched to the 2700 block of Rodriguez Street shortly after 1 PM, in reference to a possible burglary of building. Upon arrival, deputies observed the door frame to the home broken in, but the homeowner was not by the location at the time of the report. It is unknown if items were taken from the residence.

Recovered Stolen Property-A male complainant made contact with the sheriff's department to inform that while passing through the 1300 block of Becker Street, he had spotted his utility trailer that he had reported as stolen. Deputies photographed the trailer and released it to the owner.

Damage to Property-Units made their way to Gloria's Bar after a complainant informed deputies that a dump truck leaving dirt on the property had not seen utility lines and had struck and damaged a light pole.

Minor Vehicle Accident-A minor vehicle accident occurred on Ranchitos Road when a driver told deputies he was  driving on the curve and didn't see the other vehicle that was approaching too close and inadvertently struck the vehicle. Both parties refused medical attention at the time of the report.

Theft-A male subject arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office lobby to inform deputies that an unknown subject(s) took a utility trailer located on Riddle Street without his consent.

Information Report-Units responded to an alarm activation at Seco Mines Elementary, shortly before 8:00 PM. Deputies arrived to notice the rear window by the cafeteria was broken and observed a large rock inside the building. The key holder to the school was notified of the incident.

Hit and Run Report-A female complainant on the 800 block of Madrono stated that her vehicle had been parked outside of her residence and noticed rear damage when she stepped outside.
