Maverick County Daily Reports

Public Intoxication-Deputies were dispatched to the pecan farm near Rosita Valley Road in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Shortly after 3:00 AM, deputies made contact with the driver of a 2001 blue Ford F-150 that was stationary at the scene. The driver appeared to have been sleeping and showed signs of intoxication upon waking up. For his safety, he was placed into custody for public intoxication.

Located Runaway-A deputy was dispatched to Kiriaka Drive in reference to a located runaway. The female juvenile was transported to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office for processing before being sent to the Atascosa Juvenile Detention Center by the probation department.

Information Report-Deputies responded to FM 1908 after receiving reports of a horse on the loose. Complainant made arrangements with local tick rider.

Assault-Officers were on scene at the 600 block of Fresno Street after a female complainant stated that he ex-husband arrived at her residence and assaulted her by slapping her on the face and pulling her hair. The male subject left the scene upon unit's arrival.

Information Report-A complainant called to report that three loose agressive dogs killed several roosters in his pen. County animal control were able to recover the loose pit bulls by the 200 block of Sun Valley Trail.

Wanted Person-Deputies responded to the international Port of Entry #2 in reference to a possible wanted male subject. Deputies were able to confirm the open warrant out of Maverick County and the individual was placed under arrest.
