Assault/Harassment-Deputies met with a complainant who stated she and her husband visited with a tenant in regards to a stove, at which point a verbal argument ensued between her husband and the tenant. Female subject also advised that during the confrontation, tenant struck her on several occasions on the shoulder with the screen door.
Aggravated Assault-A male subject informed deputies that on Friday, May 29, 2015, three known males entered his property and threw a rock at him, striking him in the rib area. One of the known males then swung a machete towards the complainant's head, which struck a vehicle when the complainant moved.This case is currently under investigation.
Theft-Deputies were dispatched to Riverside Acres, where a male individual reported that on an unknown time or date, unknown subject(s) took a radiator and two tractor doors from his property without his consent.
Dog Bite-Deputies responded to a call after a complainant advised officers that her son was walking on Barrera Street when a dog bit her son on the right calf. The owner of the dog was later located and cited for allowing her animal to run at large. The dog was then picked up by county animal control for further investigation.
Wanted Person-Deputies responded to the international Port of Entry #2 in reference to a possible wanted male subject. Deputies were able to confirm the warrant and the male was placed under arrest for an open warrant out of Maverick County.
