Maverick County Daily Reports-June 14, 2015



Criminal Mischief-Deputies were dispatched to the 1300 block of Rosemary after a complainant stated that known male subject had broken the front windshield of her vehicle with an unknown object.

Assault-A male subject was found laying down on the sidewalk on the 3000 block of Tabachin. Deputies arrived to the location and made contact with concerned citizens, who had found the known male who appeared to have been assaulted, when they were arriving home. EMS crews were summoned to the location when it was apparent that the male was unaware of his surroundings. He  was treated at the scene and then transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further treatment.

Motor Vehicle Accident-A deputy responding to a motor vehicle accident in Quemado, Texas early Sunday morning was involved in a motor vehicle accident en route to the scene. The inclement weather, coupled with the heavy downpour of rain, caused the driver to lose control of unit, and rolling over near the 8800 block of US Highway 277 North.

Public Intoxication-A deputy arrived near the intersection of Marco Street and Memo Robinson Road a made contact with a female subject. The officer noticed that the female was in a highly intoxicated state and posed a danger to herself and to others. She was arrested on Public Intoxication charges and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Disorderly Conduct-Deputies responded to Casino Grcoery #4 on Highway 277 N in reference to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, deputies witnessed a male and female arguing loudly and using profane language towards each other, according to a witness. Both subjects were placed under arrest.

Wanted Person- A database check on a male subject attempting to enter the United States via Port of Entry #1 came back with an active warrant out of Dallas County. The male subject was detained until a deputy arrived to place him under arrest and transport him to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Building-Unknown subjects entered the Pueblo Nuevo Corner Kitchen and Snacks premises through an unknown location. The unknown subjects made sandwiches and drank sodas. A report was filed.

Wanted Person-An active warrant out of Travis County, Texas was revealed through a database check when a male subject was attempting to cross into the United States through Port of Entry #2. The male was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for further processing.
