Deputies responded to a hit and run accident involving a fixed object on Eidson Road early Tuesday morning. At approximately 12:30 AM, units en route to the scene of the accident spotted a vehicle fitting the description given leaving the area. The possible vehicle was later located inside a residence on Encuentro Road and deputies were able to make contact with an eighteen year old male driver of a 2014 dark blue Dodge Journey with fresh damages to its left front quarter panel. It was determined that the male subject and the vehicle were possibly involved in the accident and the subject was released pending charges. AEP was summoned to the location to repair damages caused to a light pole. This case is under investigation.
