Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-January 05, 2015
Deputies on patrol in Maverick County responded to a possible rollover accident on US highway 57 South Sunday, January 4th. At approximately 6:40 PM, deputies noticed a vacant 1995 blue Dodge Dakota Sport bearing Minnesota license plates stuck along the fence line along the Paloma Ranch on Highway 57. A quick search of the area found one person walking along Highway 57 with a suitcase in hand, however, the male subject in question stated he was not involved in the rollover accident. A local wrecker service company was called to the location to remove the vehicle.
