Units responded to the intersection of FM 1021(EL Indio Highway) and Rosita Valley Road Monday afternoon in response to a reported motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival minutes after the 6:30 PM hour, deputies observed a 2013 black Ford F-150 Pickup and 1999 white Chevrolet Trailblazer had collided. Contact was made with the female driver of the Ford Pickup, who stated she was traveling southbound on FM 1021 when the male driver of the Trailblazer failed to yield at the right of way on Rosita Valley Road. Impact was made to the F-150's left front quarter panel and damages were evident on the Trailblazer's front panel. The driver and the occupants of the Ford truck were transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for medical treatment. The driver of the Trailblazer refused medical attention at the time of the report. This accident is currently under investigation
