The Maverick County Sheriff's Office responded to a single motor vehicle rollover accident involving a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero on FM 2644 Saturday, October 11th. Deputies arrived to find the driver of the vehicle, identified as twenty-nine year old Belen Jimenez, on the ground being attended to by Untied States Border Patrol agents already at the scene. According to Ms. Jimenez, the Alero was traveling eatbound on 2644 when she lost control on loose gravel, causing the vehicle to rollover approximately three times. The Alero itself was found upside down by the barbed-wire fence of the Cage Ranch. Ms. Jimenez was taken to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for medical observation. The Texas Department of Public Safety took over the scene of the accident and the investigation.
