County Units were dispatched to the 2700 block of Rosita Valley Road on July 7th, at approximately 1:15 PM, in reference to a reported motor vehicle accident. Deputies arrived to make contact with the driver of 1997 Beige Ford Ranger, who was turning left into his residence, when a 2002 Silver Ford F-150 collided with the Ranger's left side. The F-150, attempting to pass the Ford Ranger, also struck twenty feet of fence line and struck a light pole. EMS crews were summoned to the scene, where the driver of the Ford Ranger was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further medical treatment.
