Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 277 North near Hopedale on Sunday June 8, 2014 near the midnight hour in reference to a motor vehicle accident involving sheriff's office unit. Upon arrival, contact was made with deputies and witnesses to the accident who advised that a 2000 black BMW coupe exited the Shell gas station into traffic without safety and stopped on the middle of the highway, causing a collision. Both operators and a passenger were transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for medical treatment. The Eagle Pass Police Department was summoned to the scene and are currently investigation the motor vehicle accident.
