Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to Comanche Ranch on June 5, 2014 in reference to a deceased person. Upon arrival at 10:30 AM, contact was made with Border Patrol agents who stated they had located a body floating in the river. The body of a male individual with Mexican Identification was retrieved from the river and Justice of the Peace Madera was at the scene of the discovery to pronounce the time of death at 12:58 PM.
