Body recovered from Rio Grande River by Bowles Ranch

Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the Bowles Ranch in reference to a possible deceased person report Monday morning, at approximately 10:34 AM. Deputies arrived to make contact with United States Border Patrol Agents who stated they were assigned to river patrol duties when they encountered a body near the banks of the Rio Grande. Eagle Pass Fire and Rescue were at the scene and assisted in recovering the body of a subject wearing a white tank top, blue jeans, a black belt, and black socks. No identification was found in the subject's possession.  Justice of the Peace Mancha was summoned to the scene where the subject was pronounced deceased at 12:05 PM.
