Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a residence by Montemayor Street on May 12, 2014, minutes after the 1 PM hour, in reference to an out of control male subject. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a female subject who stated that her brother was verbally insulting their mother. The female further stated there were several suspicious male and female subjects located in the abandoned residence next to theirs. Deputies made their way into the residence and were able to locate a total of thirteen male and female subjects. All thirteen subjects were later discovered to be undocumented citizens. U.S. Border Patrol agents arrived at the location and took custody of the subjects and also detained the male subject for further questioning.
