Maverick County Sheriff's Office (PRESS RELEASE)-Sheriff's deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident in the early hours of Sunday, March 09, 2014. Deputies arrived to the 1100 block of Baltica Street at approximately 6:46 AM to find a 2005 silver Dodge Ram collided with a light pole after having struck a residential fence. Eagle Pass Fire Department and EMS were summoned to the location but the
driver refused medical attention. The subject was determined to be
intoxicated and was transferred to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for
processing.The collision caused a power outage in the surrounding area and AEP arrived to repair damages caused.
