PRESS RELEASE: Male Subject found with two gunshot wounds

Maverick County Sheriff's Office (PRESS RELEASE)- On February 01, 2014 sheriff's deputies responded to a call at 2019 Boulder Ridge in reference to a male subject with possible multiple gunshot wounds. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a male subject who appeared to be intoxicated. Deputies observed blood stains on the subject's pants and shirt from two gunshot wounds in his abdominal area. Deputies attempted to gather information on the occurrence but the male subject was uncooperative. Emergency medical services was summoned to the location where the subject was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for treatment. This case remains under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Unit of the Maverick County Sheriff's Office.
