Wanted Person-A deputy patrolling Old Pioneer Road conducted a traffic stop on a 1999 tan Oldsmobile sedan for defective equipment this morning, near 1:50 AM. Upon making contact with all three occupants of the vehicle, a license check was conducted that revealed that one of the passengers, identified as twenty year-old Sergio Francisco Cervantes, had an active warrant for his arrest out of Frio County. Mr. Cervantes was arrested for Failure to Appear on Possession of Marijuana charges and was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Del Rio Blvd. and Rivera Drive this morning when a vehicle at a stop on Rivera Drive didn't see a vehicle traveling behind a trailer and struck the left panel. One person was taken to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center Emergency Room after complaining of neck pain.
Theft-Deputies responded to the 2300 block of Christian after a complainant reported someone had taken $700.00 from him.
Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to El Indio Highway where Elizabeth Zavala was arrested on active warrant charges for theft over $1500.00
Runaway Report-A runaway was reported on the 3700 block of Siesta Drive when a female told deputies her juvenile son had runaway from their residence without her consent.
Information Report-Deputies were dispatched to FM 2644 mile marker 386 in reference to a vehicle on fire. Upon arrival, deputies observed a 200 black Mitsubishi Raider engulfed in flames. Fire department was summoned to the scene and extinguished the fire.
Information Report-Deputies responded to the 1600 block of Encuentro, where a 2014 red Mercedes Benz was on fire. A complainant stated that unknown subject(s) had started the fire. Eagle Pass Fire Department crews were on scene to extinguish the fire and an arson investigator was contacted.
