that it is easy for others to see what actions are performed. We shall strive
to be transparent as a means of holding office officials accountable and
preventing corruption.

MCSO promotes
and encourages a policy of professional individual excellence, which is
delivered and enhanced by continuing education and training. We support an
organizational climate of mutual trust and respect.

Integrity is
defined as being honest, moral, upright and sincere. The foundation of the MSCO
is the high level of integrity of its employees and our reputation to the
people we serve.

The Office
recognizes that its employees are the vital component to the successful
delivery of police, corrections and court security services. We believe we can
achieve our highest potential by actively involving our employees in problem
solving and improving police, correctional, and security services.

Office members
shall uphold laws in an ethical, impartial, courteous, and professional manner
while respecting the rights and dignity of all persons. We shall strive to
achieve a balance between law enforcement and community needs to reflect the
spirit and the letter of the law.
