Deceased Person-A unit responded to the water plant on FM 1907 this morning after US Border Patrol agents reported observing a body floating in the water. Fire Department crews arrived at the scene and were able to retrieve the body out of the water and Justice of the Peace Rodriguez declared the subject deceased at approximately 10:10 AM. A formal autopsy was requested and a report was filed.
Deceased Person-A deputy was dispatched to the Rio Grande area under port of entry 1 this morning after fire department crews and US Border Patrol agents recovered the body of an unidentified person from the river vega area. Justice of the Peace Rodriguez was at the location to pronounce the subject deceased at approximately 9:25 AM.
Wanted Person-Deputies this evening arrested forty-three year old Vicente Quezada after agents at the port detained him when a check revealed a possible open warrant. The warrant out of Dallas County for aggravated sexual assault on a child was confirmed and Quezada was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-A traffic stop conducted on Rosita Valley Road this evening led to the arrest of twenty-eight year old Alexandria Noriega after a background check revealed an open warrant out of Maverick County on a possession of a controlled substance charge. Ms. Noriega was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
