Wanted Person-Deputies this afternoon arrested two subjects at the international port of entry after a check revealed active warrants for their arrest. Warrants out of the state of Georgia for twenty-one year old Zakary Russo and his passenger, forty year old Rodrigo Garcia, Jr, were confirmed and the pair were later transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Maverick County Sheriff's Investigators arrested Aron Mendoza on the 600 block of Commercial Street this afternoon on an active warrant for Burglary of Habitation charges. The warrant comes after after several finger prints belonging to Mendoza were found at different crime locations. Mendoza was taken into custody and multiple stolen items were recovered along with a white Ford F-150 pickup that was reported stolen out of the City of Eagle Pass. Mr. Mendoza was taken to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing and this case still remains under investigation with additional charges pending.
Criminal Trespass-Twenty-eight year old Jorge Barrientos was arrested at a residence on Fresno Loop this evening after a criminal trespass warning had already been filed against him at the location. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
