Theft-A complainant on the 2800 block of FM 1021 reported unknown subject(s) entered his property and took 10 rims and tires from the backyard without consent. A formal report was filed.
Information Report-Deputies this morning responded to structural fire on the 600 block of Morning Star. Units arrived at the location shortly after 10:00 AM to find a female subject along with two children outside of the residence, where smoke was seen emitting from the home. Fire Department crews arrived at the scene to safely extinguish the fire and the Fire Marshal has since taken over the investigation. A formal report was filed.
Wanted Person-Deputies this afternoon made contact with City of Eagle Pass Police officers who had detained a male subject with an active warrant out of Maverick County. The warrant on the subject identified as Martin Portillo was confirmed and he was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
